IKKG Circle of Friends

The „IKKG Freundeskreis“ supports the IKKG and the students in an idealistic and material way by promoting the curriculum with temporary exhibitions, symposia, lectures, excursions, projects and institutional publications. Our top priority is the exchange of experiences between teachers, students and graduates, economy and science. The „Freundeskreis“ offers a platform to all that are interested in ceramic- and glass art to exchange information and advice.

Ceramists, glass designers, art collectors and friends of artistic ceramics and glass come together and form a strong lobby for art made of ceramic and glass, which is defined in an open dialogue with other contemporary artistic expressions. We offer art lovers the opportunity to actively support the IKKG by joining the „Freundeskreis“. Members have the option to participate in excursions or art courses (limited numbers of participants), to aquire student work at favourable prices, receive invitations to all internal events, exhibitions and discussions with renowned artists – the so-called Monday talks. Furthermore, members can participate in „Freundeskreis“ meetings and have a direct voice and the right to vote. The „Freundeskreis“ is an official charity. The statute provides information on rights and obligations of the members.
